My post-secondary academic journey spans multiple institutions in 3 different time zones.
In 1998, I started my university studies at the University of New Orleans as part of an Engineering outreach program in my Junior year of high school. Upon graduation, I enrolled at UNO full time while working at a local grocer (Wagner's). My intentions were to transfer to the Architecture program at Louisiana State University but this did not come to fruition.

After a year, I moved on campus into the dormitory and eventually took a position as a Resident Assistant. During this time, I also changed my major from Engineering to Marketing. After a three year period I moved off campus in 2004. Unfortunately, I did not maintain educational focus and ended up on academic probation. I was in the process of sitting out for an academic year when Hurricane Katrina derailed my re-enrollment plans.
I relocated to San Diego, CA in January 2009. After two years of working, I enrolled in the Architecture program at Southwestern Community College in 2011. While juggling a full time job and a young family I graduated in May 2014 with two Associate's Degrees: Architecture and Architecture Technology. Additionally, I also completed a GIS certificate and worked an internship with the City of Chula Vista, CA.

Upon graduation from SWC i enrolled in the Urban Planning program at Arizona State University. Initially my classes were online but I relocated to Tempe, AZ in May 2015 to complete the remaining courses in person. A year later, I finished my Bachelor's of Science in Urban Planning with a 3.51 GPA.
Currently, I am researching program options for a Master's degree in Real Estate Development.
